A leading rendering and recycling company in Hamilton is seeking a qualified 2nd Class Engineer to support the operation and maintenance of its power plant. The ideal candidate will hold a valid Ontario 2nd Class operating engineer's certificate and have mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting skills. This role requires comfort with 12-hour rotating shifts and offers a salary of $46.25 per hour plus shift premiums. Strong teamwork and reliability are essential.

Qualifications
- Must hold a valid Ontario 2nd Class operating engineer's certificate.
- Experience in a rendering or food manufacturing environment is a definite asset.
- Comfortable working 12-hour rotating shifts.

- Assist maintenance colleagues with general maintenance of the facility.
- Ensure compliance with all standards and regulations.
- Maintain and develop compliance with HACCP, GMP, and SOPs.
