United Rentals is seeking a Power HVAC Mechanic (Service Tech III) to maintain and repair diesel engines, HVAC equipment, and dehumidification/air purification systems within the Power/HVAC division. You will perform tasks safely, document service activity, and assist customers with equipment demonstrations and training of junior staff.

The role involves travel to customer sites, strong mechanical expertise, and a focus on delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced rental

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 3-5 years of experience with repairing and maintaining diesel engines or HVAC equipment
• Intermediate to advanced diagnostic and repair skills for mechanical, hydraulic, diesel, pneumatic and other systems
• Strong mechanical background knowledge particularly with various engines
• Basic understanding of schematics and diagrams
• Own the tools applicable to position
• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.

Responsabilités

• Maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on a variety of rental and customer equipment and tools
• Report machine condition to Management
• Responsible for service documentation
• Occasional travel to customer sites
• Demonstrate equipment for customers
• Train lower level technicians as needed
• Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment & parts
• Other duties assigned as needed
