Job summary

Loewen Windows and Doors in Steinbach, MB, is seeking a Class 4 or 5 Manitoba licensed Power Engineer to join the Maintenance department on a rotating shift at our Steinbach, MB manufacturing facility.

You will operate and maintain building systems, control boilers and HVAC equipment, and keep comprehensive records. Strong English communication, safety focus, and teamwork are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Valid Manitoba Class 4 or Class 5 Power Engineer certification.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Maintain operation of building systems including security, fire protection, boilers, heat exchangers, humidification and water treatment.
• Keep chemical and boiler records up to date and accurate.
• Maintain knowledge of controls and building system equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by managers and maintenance leaders.

We are looking for a Class 4 or 5 Manitoba licensed Power Engineer to join the Maintenance department on a rotating shift at our Steinbach, MB manufacturing facility.

What you will do:

• Maintain operation of the building systems including; security and fire protection systems, gas and wood burning boilers, heat exchangers, humidification systems, water treatment systems (including R.O.D.I. and water softeners), H.V.A.C. (heating, ventilating, air conditioning systems)
• Maintain all chemical and boiler records
• Maintain a strong understanding and working knowledge of all controls and building system equipment
• Other duties as assigned by managers and maintenance leaders

What you bring:

• Valid Manitoba Class 4 or Class 5 Power Engineer certification
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
