Qualifications

• Valid 3rd or 4th Class Power Engineer Certificate in Manitoba.
• Minimum three years of experience with ammonia/glycol refrigeration systems.
• Knowledge of local codes, regulations, and bylaws.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate Ammonia/Glycol refrigeration plant.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC and life safety systems.
• Complete daily logs and preventative maintenance schedules.
• Ensure a safe, clean work environment following Sobeys 5S Standards.

Skills

Knowledge of building systems

Ability to read blueprints and schematics

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Experience with refrigeration systems

Mechanical trades licensing
