Qualifications
- Valid 3rd or 4th Class Power Engineer Certificate in Manitoba.
- Minimum three years of experience with ammonia/glycol refrigeration systems.
- Knowledge of local codes, regulations, and bylaws.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and operate Ammonia/Glycol refrigeration plant.
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC and life safety systems.
- Complete daily logs and preventative maintenance schedules.
- Ensure a safe, clean work environment following Sobeys 5S Standards.
Skills
Knowledge of building systems
Ability to read blueprints and schematics
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with refrigeration systems
Mechanical trades licensing
Education
