A health authority on Vancouver Island seeks a qualified individual to operate, repair, and maintain facility boiler systems and related equipment. Responsibilities include preventative maintenance on HVAC systems and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Candidates must hold a 5th Class Power Engineer certification and possess two years of relevant experience. A valid Class 5 vehicle license is required.

Reports to the Chief Engineer or designate, operates, repairs and maintains low pressure steam and/or hot water boilers. Carries out preventative and demand maintenance on air conditioning equipment, emergency power and other related equipment of the facility in compliance with applicable codes and regulations.
