Agropur is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer for its Ontario facility. The role focuses on corrective and preventive maintenance of production lines, ensuring safety, reliability and compliance with procedures.

The ideal candidate holds 4th Class Power Engineer and Refrigeration Operator Class B, plus a Red Seal, with 1–3 years of hands-on experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and teamwork skills. Regular day shift and overtime are possible.

Qualifications

• 4th Class Power (Operating) Engineer Certification.
• Refrigeration Operator Class B Certification.
• TSSA "Red Seal" 4B.
• Minimum 1 to 3 years experience.
• Good Mechanical competence.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Completes work orders, records, history logs and other written or computer-based documents according to established procedures.
• Performs corrective and preventative maintenance activities.
• Adheres to all safety rules, precautions, and practices to ensure the safety of self and others.
• Properly trouble-shoot and maintain production lines and/or batching/processing equipment.
• Properly perform all necessary maintenance tasks to production lines (i.e. rebuilds, welding, valve, pipe and solenoid selection, etc.)
• Properly develop and implement preventive maintenance systems for all production equipment and/or batching/processing equipment.
