A government agency in Selkirk, Manitoba is seeking a full-time Power Engineer to oversee the operation and maintenance of essential mechanical systems, including heating, cooling, and electrical power systems. Ideal candidates will have relevant experience in a High Pressure Steam Plant and possess a valid 3rd Class Power Engineering Certificate. Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills are essential. This position also requires a valid driver’s license and a comprehensive background check.

Under the direction of the Chief Engineer, the incumbent is responsible for the operation and maintenance of a Second Class Power House and related mechanical systems, including equipment and all related systems for the supply of heating, cooling and electrical power to the Selkirk Mental Health Centre.
