Emera Inc. is hiring a Power Engineer for the Nova Scotia Power, Port Hawkesbury Biomass site. The role covers safe operation of high‑pressure boiler/turbine units and all related equipment, reporting to the Shift Supervisor.
You’ll work within the NSPI/IBEW agreement, participate in training, and may travel across the province as needed. Candidates should have a 2nd Class Power Engineer certificate and at least 3 years’ experience in a similar setting, with strong teamwork and problem‑solving

We are currently looking for a Power Engineer to join our Power Production team in a permanent position. Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for all aspects of the safe and cost-efficient operation of the high-pressure boiler turbine unit(s) and all associated auxiliary equipment.
