Qualifications

• Experience building Power BI reports and datasets for financial and regulatory reporting.
• Strong data modeling and semantic layer design using star schema concepts.
• Proficiency in SQL and data transformation for enterprise data sources.
• Experience with data security and RLS controls in Power BI.
• Ability to collaborate with business partners and translate requirements into technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements and design/implement new features for reporting solutions.
• Collaborate with product owner and project teams to deliver high-quality analytics.
• Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement optimization across data models and queries.
• Provide ad hoc reporting and self-service analytics support to stakeholders.

Team

Our team is responsible for the systems that support Global Finance. We support over 1000 users across the Finance teams in the bank.

Role

• This role would support the regulatory reporting automation and other initiatives that support the Finance teams.
• The successful candidate will work closely with various stakeholders including business partners in Global Finance, business analyst, architecture, and infrastructure and support to understand business requirements and drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions that best support the business need.

What will we expect from you?

• Gather requirements, design and build new features
• Collaborate with the product owner, project manager and other relevant teams
• Ensure best possible performance, quality and responsiveness of the applications
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
• Excellent understanding of developer life cycle and enterprise developer tools
• Power BI report creation, debug issues and performance improvements
