Job summary

Canada Post in Vancouver is seeking an on-call Postal Clerk for a temporary assignment with a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, overnights and weekends. The role offers exposure to mail operations and learning opportunities about Canada Post’s business.

Responsibilities

• Receive and accept mail items.
• Sort, scan and sequence and batch mail items.
• Transfer and load a postal truck.
• Transfer and dispatch parcels and packets.
• Complete reports and documentation.
• Lift mail items weighing up to 22.7 kilograms (50lbs).
• Perform other postal clerk duties as required.
