Job summary

SIIT, the Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technologies, is seeking a Curriculum Writer to lead the development and continuous improvement of curriculum across post-secondary programs. You will ensure content is accurate, culturally relevant, and pedagogically sound while aligning with SIIT's vision and mandate.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Education, Curriculum Development, or related field.
• 3–6 years of teaching, training, or curriculum development.
• Understanding of curriculum theory and LMS design in education.
• Knowledge of First Nations culture, histories, and organizations is an asset.
• Understanding of adult learning theories and principles is an asset.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Develop, revise, and evaluate curriculum in line with practice, legislation, and SIIT standards.
• Create learning outcomes, activities, assessments, and rubrics aligned to outcomes.
• Collaborate with instructors and subject matter experts to ensure currency and accuracy.
