Job summary

SuperQubit Inc. is building a cutting‑edge PQC TLS intercept proxy that runs locally to upgrade legacy connections without modifying applications.

The role combines systems programming in Rust with cryptographic engineering and kernel‑level interfaces across Linux, Windows, and macOS. You will work with our PQC lead to integrate liboqs via Python bindings into a high‑performance Rust core, implement per‑application PQC policies, and ensure secure key material handling from generation to trust

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Proven hands-on experience building cryptographic or low-level network security software.
• Strong systems programming skills in Rust or C/C++, with async I/O and high-throughput networking.
• Deep TLS 1.2/1.3 internals knowledge and certificate handling.
• Experience with OS-level traffic redirection and process attribution on at least one platform.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement a local TLS-terminating proxy in Rust for PQC.
• Build a per-application PQC policy enforcement module at the OS level.
• Implement PQC capability detection and adaptable handshakes.
• Integrate Python/liboqs cryptographic engine via FFI or PyO3.
• Develop a lightweight relay server for end-to-end encrypted PQC bridge.
• Create a configurable policy layer for traffic PQC treatment or passthrough.
• Architect crypto-modular, updatable algorithms aligned with evolving standards.
• Handle PKI, certificate generation and OS trust-store integration.
• Perform security-focused code reviews on key material handling and memory safety.
• Maintain documentation and reproducible build practices.
