Job summary

Shoppers Drug Mart in Whitby is seeking a customer-focused associate to provide prompt service at the retail postal outlet. You will greet customers, process transactions accurately, and maintain neat checkout areas while upholding store policies and health/safety standards.

Gain experience with PC Optimum, cash handling, and merchandising while representing a local store aligned with a national brand. Accommodation and flexible scheduling may be available.

• Asks for customer’s PC Optimum Card during each transaction.
• Ensures proper documentation completed with respect to customers receipt and return of goods.
• Merchandises and maintains designated areas (i.e. facing, signing, labeling, etc).
• Ensures loss prevention Standards are followed.
• Controls cash, lottery, and stamp inventory.
• Presents proper image to the public in accordance with Uniform Policy and Dress Code Guidelines
• Complies with all health and safety regulations
• Complies with all store policies and procedures
• Ensures the standards of housekeeping and image are maintained
• Perform other duties as required
