Job summary

Canada Post is seeking an on-call Post Office Assistant to provide counter services to customers with a customer-focused approach in a North Rustico post office.

The ideal candidate should reside in the community with flexibility for temporary, on-call work, and will handle postal products, mail processing, and customer assistance. English essential, PEI location, and 1 vacancy.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school or provincial equivalency; experience in business administration is a plus.
• Experience interacting with the public in a retail/service environment, including sales and cash transactions.
• Understanding of general or post office accounting systems.
• Physically able to lift mail containers up to 50 lb, push/pull boxes, sort mail, and stand for extended periods.
• Flexibility to be available for temporary, on-call work.
