DataAnnotation is seeking a Portuguese Translator to judge and correct AI output in Portuguese, teaching models to write like native speakers. You will evaluate translations for fidelity and tone, and rank model output to catch nuances missed by automated metrics.

Your role includes drafting improved translations when the model falls short, ensuring natural phrasing that reads as human-written Portuguese, with an emphasis on accuracy and stylistic quality.

• Native or near-native fluency in Portuguese.
• Translation, localization, or professional writing experience preferred.
• Clear written English: explanations are the training signal.

As a Portuguese Translator you'll judge and correct AI output in Portuguese, teaching models to write the way people actually speak.

What you'll actually do

• Evaluate translations between English and Portuguese for fidelity, fluency, and tone, the way a professional editor would.


• Rank and rate model output in Portuguese, catching what automated metrics miss.


• Write the better version when the model falls short, natural enough that no one could tell it was a translation.
