Work Schedule: Full-time (up to 40 hours/week), Monday – Friday; business hours

DataForce by TransPerfect is currently looking for a Language Data Annotator with fluency in Portuguese (Brazil) to join our team in Vancouver! This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an innovative project to improve Artificial Intelligence and technology.

This role requires a high level of independence, adaptation, and accuracy – love of attention to detail will help to succeed in this role!

Role Summary

Language Data Annotator will focus on speech or text recognition, input methods, keyboard/swipe technology, or other areas of human-machine interaction related to languages.

None previous experience or training in the field is required - we will teach you all you need to know.

Role Responsibilities

• Transcription - create written copies of live speech or dictated audio
• Data labeling - identify and label the properties of what you transcribe
• Data classification - categorize provided data into different criteria
• Data entry - following provided company guidelines, input the data and information

Qualifications

• Idiomatic fluency in Portuguese (Brazil)
• Eligible to work in Canada
• Must be of legal age (18+)
• Located within a reasonable commuting distance to our Vancouver office
• Great reading and comprehension skills
• Ability to meet daily KPIs
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to work independently
