Job summary

Master Pools Alta Ltd. designs and builds commercial and municipal aquatic facilities across Western Canada. The team focuses on clean, safe installation of water circulation, filtration, and chemical treatment systems with coordination among plumbers, carpenters, and engineering technicians.

Training on pool equipment and processes is provided by Master Pools Alta as needed. Candidates should be prepared for travel to job sites and work under a site foreman on mechanical projects.

Qualifications

• Must be capable of working as part of a team on construction projects.
• Demonstrates mechanical aptitude and ability to learn pool mechanical systems.
• Maintains professional behavior on a commercial construction site.

Responsibilities

• Assist in constructing PVC mechanical systems in mechanical rooms.
• Join with plumbers and carpenters on installation of circulation and filtration components.
• Support pool tank and finishes installation as required (diving boards, rails, etc.).
• Study and follow safe work procedures and site safety rules.
• Review engineered schematics, O&M manuals, and installation instructions.
• Learn to interpret local codes for compliance with CSA, NSF and UL standards.
