Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) is seeking a motivated Program Management Intern/Co-op in Calgary. You will work full-time in a hybrid or onsite setup, contributing to project lifecycles, risk assessment, and schedule development while collaborating with PMO and engineering teams to improve processes.

You will build requirements, analyze data, and report weekly on progress, with mentorship to onboard schedules in MS-Project and grow in data visualization skills.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Canada-based university pursuing a Bachelor's degree in CS/CE/SE/Math/Data Science or related.
• AI/ML specialization optional and asset.

Responsibilities

• Craft realistic schedules and manage project lifecycle, risk, issues, and action follow-ups.
• Collaborate with AMD PMO and engineering to improve processes and efficiency.
• Track and report weekly on plans, status, and progress to management and collaborators; drive corrective actions.
• Build requirements definition, problem resolution, and project planning with the team.
• Follow up with program managers on processes and tools compliance.
• Onboard schedules in MS-Project server for program managers.
• Develop automated data gathering and reporting using data visualization tools.
