Job Description

• The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and delivering IT projects using Agile methodologies, while ensuring adherence to project governance frameworks.
• This role includes detailed planning, team coordination, Agile ceremonies, risk management, and client engagement throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirement / Must Have

• University degree in Business Administration or Information Technology, or equivalent combination of college diploma and relevant experience.
• 10 years of experience as a project manager working on IT projects within the last 15 years.
• 3 years of experience in full lifecycle delivery using Agile within the last 5 years.
• Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), or PRINCE2 certification.

Experience

• 3+ years as a Senior Agile IT Project Manager in IT system development and support.
• 5+ years leading cross-functional business and technical teams with in-house and external stakeholders.
• 2+ years of experience in organizational change management, including planning and execution.
• 5+ years in cost estimating, resource planning, reporting, and project time management.
• 5+ years of experience demonstrating knowledge of IT system concepts and their impact on business processes.
• 2+ years using Azure DevOps to manage Agile delivery including PI planning, daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, backlog administration, and team collaboration.
• 2+ years of experience serving as a Scrum Master.

Responsibilities

• Provide project monitoring and control activities including reporting, dashboards, change requests, project initiation documents, risk and issue management, resource tracking, and budget vs. actuals.
• Perform detailed planning activities for each phase of the project.
• Lead Client sessions, project scrums, Agile ceremonies, and collaborate with business analysts to document requirements and user stories.
• Work with technical teams to define scope and organize deliverables into sprints.
• Design and conduct Agile ceremonies and stakeholder meetings, including steering committee sessions.
• Define scope and requirements, and create executable plans including resource needs, timelines, and costs.
• Support the creation of development-ready, scoped, and approved user stories with clear definitions of done.
• Report status and progress of assigned activities to management.
• Identify non-technical risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Perform project closure activities including acceptance, documentation finalization, and project reporting.
• Perform additional tasks and duties as assigned.
