Responsibilities

• Food Safety & Quality Control: Ensure products meet Tim Hortons' quality standards. Adhere to food safety regulations and proper sanitation practices.
• Inventory Management: Assist with stock levels of baking ingredients, track supplies, and receive deliveries twice weekly.
• Prep Work: Prepare kitchen, fillings, and toppings in advance for peak hours.
• Maintenance & Cleanliness: Keep a clean and organized workspace; ensure ovens and tools are in top condition.
• Team Collaboration: Work with team members to ensure a smooth kitchen, especially during high-volume periods.
• Customer Satisfaction: Contribute to an exceptional guest experience with fresh, delicious baked goods.

As a Baker at Tim Hortons, you will play a key role in ensuring our guests receive the freshest and highest-quality baked goods. You’ll be responsible for preparing a variety of baked items, from our famous donuts to pastries and lunch items. If you’re a detail-oriented, early riser with a passion for baking, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

Key Responsibilities:

Food Safety & Quality Control: Ensure all products meet Tim Hortons' quality standards. Adhere to food safety regulations and proper sanitation practices.

Inventory Management: Assist with managing stock levels of baking ingredients, keeping track of supplies, and ensuring the kitchen is stocked for each shift. Receiving of supply deliveries twice weekly.

Prep Work: Prepare kitchen, fillings, and toppings in advance, ensuring they're ready for baking during peak hours.

Maintenance & Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring ovens, baking tools, and equipment are in top condition.

Team Collaboration: Work alongside other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient kitchen environment, especially during high-volume periods.

Customer Satisfaction: While this role is considered back of house, you'll help create an exceptional experience for our customers by ensuring fresh and delicious baked goods are always available.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in baking, preferably in a commercial or high-volume setting.

Requirements

Live in Oakville, will be relocating to Oakville or have reliable transportation and can commute to our Restaurant in Oakville.

Previous customer service: 1 year (Preferred)

Previous cash handling experience: 1 year (Preferred)
