Job summary

Bridgepoint Maintenance is seeking an experienced Plumber to join our residential field service team in Peterborough, Ontario. This on-site role involves diagnosing and repairing leaks, replacing fixtures, and ensuring work protects homes from water damage on each service call.

You will work independently with professional communication to customers and our dispatch team, bringing your own tools and a reliable vehicle to deliver high-quality workmanship on every appointment.

Qualifications

• Has at least 5 years of paid plumbing experience.
• Can diagnose and complete plumbing service calls independently.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Understands how to protect homes from water damage while completing repairs.
• Knows when work falls outside their approved scope and should be escalated.
• Communicates professionally with customers and our operations team.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose plumbing problems and locate the source of leaks.
• Repair toilets, faucets, sinks, shut-off valves, drains, and supply lines.
• Replace plumbing fixtures and common household components.
• Complete dishwasher and laundry appliance water connections.
• Inspect plumbing systems for additional concerns.
• Respond to active leaks and help prevent further property damage.
• Test completed repairs before closing the work order.
• Photograph completed work and document service notes.
• Update appointments through our mobile work app.
• Travel directly between scheduled service appointments.

Bridgepoint Maintenance is growing its residential field service team and is looking for experienced Plumbers who can work independently, communicate professionally, and deliver quality workmanship on every service call.

Typical Service Calls

Appointments May Include

• Your own reliable vehicle
• Your own plumbing tools, equipment, and common service supplies
• A smartphone capable of using GPS, mobile work apps, taking photos, and submitting digital job updates
• Basic English communication skills
• Reliable attendance and strong organizational skills
