Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Plumber to perform preventive maintenance, repair, testing, and troubleshooting of plumbing and building systems throughout a facility.

You will install water systems and fixtures according to blueprints and codes, inspect backflow devices, and support project teams. This role emphasizes safety, training, and urgent response to incidents.

Qualifications

• Experience in preventive maintenance and repairs of plumbing systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with water distribution and backflow device inspection.

Responsibilities

• Repair, install, test, and troubleshoot water and medical gas systems.
• Install water systems, piping, and fixtures per blueprints and codes.
• Ensure waste and vent lines are in good condition with appropriate tools.
• Assist staff on projects or equipment installations.
• Complete plumbing safety inspections on backflow devices.
• Provide training to staff for light plumbing maintenance and repairs.
• Perform general maintenance and building systems duties as required.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with additional help as needed.
• Follow all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
• Complete required HSE programs and investigations as needed.
• Report unsafe conditions to management.

About the Role:

As a CBRE Plumber, you will be responsible for general preventive maintenance, repair, testing, installation, and troubleshooting of plumbing, mechanical and building systems throughout a facility.

This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

What You’ll Do:

• Repair, install, replace, test, and troubleshoot the water and medical gas supply and distribution system.
• Install new water systems, piping, and fixtures by blueprints, drawings, specifications, and applicable codes.
• Ensure waste and vent lines are in good operating condition using a plumber’s snake, vacuum plunger, or jet washer.
• Assist other staff members or contractors on projects or equipment installations.
• Complete plumbing safety inspections on backflow devices.
• Provide training to other staff members so they can perform light plumbing maintenance and repair.
• Perform general maintenance and building systems operational duties as assigned or directed.
• Respond to emergency situations, summoning extra help as needed.
• Follow all activity policies and procedures, always including all HSE-related requirements.
• Complete all HSE programs & activities as required, including incident investigations, interviews, auditing, and assessment, etc.
• Report any conditions that could result in an accident or injury to management.
