Job summary

Rip Rap Plumbing & Heating Ltd. is seeking an experienced plumber to install and repair domestic, commercial, or industrial plumbing systems at diverse sites across the area.

The role requires reading blueprints, precise pipe fitting, and ensuring leak-free operation through testing and inspection. Qualified applicants will have 5+ years of plumbing experience, a Plumber Trade Certification, and strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of plumbing experience.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings and specifications.
• On-site work at various locations.
• Valid Plumber Trade Certification.
• Excellent oral and written communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Install domestic, commercial or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems.
• Repair domestic, commercial or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems.
• Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine layout of plumbing system, water supply network and waste and drainage systems.
• Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes and fixtures in walls and floors.
• Cut opening in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings.
• Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement or soldering, brazing and welding equipment.
• Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.

• Repair domestic, commercial or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems
• Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine layout of plumbing system, water supply network and waste and drainage systems
• Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes and fixtures in walls and floors
• Cut opening in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings
• Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement or soldering, brazing and welding equipment

• Measure, cut, thread and bend pipes to required shape and size
