Job summary

10X Toronto is seeking a Play Centre Attendant to ensure the safety and enjoyment of children within our Play Centre. This role requires availability from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Saturday through Sunday, and involves engaging activities and a friendly guest experience.

You will handle cash and card transactions, assist members and guests, and collaborate with other departments to maintain high service standards across Club operations.

Qualifications

• Early Childhood Education Certificate required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience working with children.
• Experience with CSI/Daxko membership software preferred.
• Advanced computer literacy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email).
• Excellent oral/written communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor children's activities and enforce safety at all times.
• Engage children in fun, age-appropriate activities.
• Process cash and credit card transactions per procedures.
• Answer member and guest questions, comments and concerns.

TenX Toronto (10XTO) is a world-class athletic facility with 90,000 sq. ft. of both indoor space and terraces, designed to embrace guests and members in a lifestyle dedicated to the ultimate in health, wellness, and balance. It is renowned for its outstanding professionals and features, including squash courts, tennis courts, state of the art weight and cardio machines, classes, a golf simulator and fully staffed children’s play zone staff.

Job Summary

The Play Centre is an added benefit for TEN X TORONTO members and Hotel guests. As such, the Play Centre Attendant is directly responsible for the safety and enjoyment of the children in the play center. This role requires availability from 9:0 AM to 5:30 PM, Saturday through Sunday.

Role and Responsibilities

• Monitoring the activities of the children and making sure safety is enforced at all times
• Engaging the children in fun and appropriate activities for their age
• Accurately process all cash and credit card transactions using established procedures and software
• Addresses and responds to all member and guest questions, comments and concern
• Workas part of a team and communicate with other departments as per club procedures to ensure excellent quality and service
• Participate in club and community events as needed.

Qualifications

• Early Childhood Education Certificate required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience working in childcare centres or with children.
• Experience working with CSI/Daxko membership software preferred.
• Advanced computer literacy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email).
• Must have excellent oral/written communication and interpersonal skills and must be able to interact with all levels of guests in a professional and cordial manner.
• Exceptional organizational/problem-solving skills must be self-motivated and very detail-oriented.
• Flexible shift availability including evenings, weekends and holidays. Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the club. In addition, attendance at all scheduled training sessions and meetings is required.
