Platform Engineer - SaaS & Collaboration Platforms

Role Summary: NearSource is looking for an experienced Platform Engineer to manage and enhance Centercode as a core collaboration platform. The selected candidate will oversee platform operations, drive feature adoption, and support cross-functional teams while also contributing to Jira and Confluence Cloud administration. This role plays a key part in ensuring seamless user experience, platform reliability, and enterprise‑grade governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the Centercode SaaS platform to ensure high availability, performance, and reliability.
- Provide responsive support to end users, resolving access issues and guiding teams through onboarding and platform features.
- Monitor Centercode feature releases and drive adoption to improve workflows and feedback processes.
- Track and report platform metrics, including usage, uptime, and engagement.
- Conduct user research, manage user communities, and facilitate feedback between users and development teams.
- Monitor changes related to SSO, OAuth, Identity, and Profile systems to ensure seamless platform integration.
- Ensure compliance with Privacy, Security, GDPR, and Integration audit requirements.
- Create and maintain platform documentation, training materials, and internal wiki resources.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to support feature testing, feedback collection, and rollout activities.
- Develop and maintain webhook scripts for automation and integrations.
- Provide secondary support for Jira and Confluence Cloud adoption and configuration.
Must-Have Skills
- Proven experience managing SaaS platforms with a strong preference for Centercode.
- Strong stakeholder and end‑user management skills with excellent communication capabilities.
- Background in Quality Assurance or development of complex systems.
- Experience in community management, technical program management, or PLM systems such as Teamcenter.
- Strong understanding of SDLC processes and related tooling.
- Experience ensuring compliance with GDPR, Privacy, Security, and Integration audits.
- Familiarity with OAuth protocols and SSO.
- Experience with Jira, Slack, and Confluence platforms (Cloud preferred).
- Webhook scripting experience or strong willingness to learn.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
- Strong QA and test procedure skills with familiarity in Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Exposure to AWS services.
- Strong English communication skills in both spoken and written form.
