Tremcar Inc. in Saint-Césaire, Quebec, seeks an experienced metalworker to operate heavy-duty machines on site. The role requires 1 year to less than 2 years of experience, an appropriate trades certificate or diploma, and the ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints.

You will set up and run braking/press, drilling and shearing equipment, plan task sequences, move materials safely, and work as part of a team in a physically demanding environment. French language skills are required.

Qualifications

• 1 year to less than 2 years of metalworking experience.
• On-site work; no remote option.
• Ability to study engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Proficiency with heavy-duty metal-working machines.

Responsabilités

• Plan the sequence of tasks to cut metal most efficiently.
• Study engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Set up and operate heavy-duty metal-working machines.
• Rig, hoist and move materials to storage areas or within worksite.
