Job description
Plant Manager – Manufacturing Leadership with Purpose

Harbinger Network has partnered with an industry leading organization to find their next Plant Manager to join the team. They bring bold ideas to life in a custom fabrication environment. As a leader in custom fabrication, every piece created is the result of precision, collaboration, and passion. The Plant Manager brings not just operational excellence, but energy, accountability, and a people‑first mindset to lead the growing team across a variety of departments, including Paint, Fabrication, Assembly and Maintenance.

If you're someone who thrives in fast‑paced environments, finds purpose in developing others, and leads with clarity and compassion and believes in Servant Leadership principles, this is your opportunity to make a lasting impact.

What You’ll Be Leading

As Plant Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind efficient, safe, and high‑quality production across multiple shifts. You’ll champion process improvement, employee development, and cross‑department collaboration — ensuring operations run seamlessly while people feel empowered to do their best work.

What Success Looks Like
  • Production Excellence: Every product leaves the floor on time and built right the first time.
  • People Leadership: You build strong, motivated teams that know their work matters — and feel proud of it.
  • Continuous Improvement: You challenge the status quo, optimize systems, and reduce waste without compromising quality.
  • Culture of Safety: You foster a proactive safety culture where every team member looks out for one another.
  • Customer Satisfaction: You align operations with client expectations to deliver exceptional results.
Your Day‑to‑Day Will Include
Operations & Team Management
  • Lead a team of 100+ across two shifts, guiding production and supporting team development.
  • Partner with HR on hiring, training, performance reviews, and policy compliance.
  • Set clear expectations and follow through with support, coaching, and accountability.
Production & Process Optimization
  • Own production scheduling and performance tracking — keeping output on pace with demand.
  • Streamline workflows, reduce rework, and ensure lean manufacturing principles are in play.
  • Launch and lead improvement initiatives (Lean, Kaizen, 5S, etc.).
Quality, Safety & Compliance
  • Hold high standards and ensure every product meets design and client expectations.
  • Proactively manage quality control and drive corrective actions when needed.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Facilities & Equipment Oversight
  • Keep equipment running smoothly and the plant in peak condition.
  • Manage maintenance plans and ensure tools and resources are ready when needed.
Budget & Strategic Input
  • Create and manage budgets and identify cost‑saving opportunities without compromising value.
  • Contribute to cross‑functional strategy, working closely with Engineering, Procurement, and other leaders.
  • Support capital investment planning and innovation in production methods and technologies.
What You Bring to the Table
  • Post‑secondary education in Manufacturing, Operations, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years in manufacturing, with 7+ years leading diverse teams.
  • Proven success in custom fabrication/manufacturing.
  • Strong grasp of Lean principles and continuous improvement tools.
  • Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (Epicor preferred), and Microsoft Office. You will be using this data to leverage project prioritization.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and developing others.
Why join the team?

Manufacturing is more than machines — it’s about people, pride, and purpose. In this role, you’ll find a team that values transparency, curiosity, and community. They celebrate wins together and treat challenges as opportunities to grow. They’re building something special — and they'd love for you to be part of it.

Compensation will range pending on your experience. If you have custom manufacturing experience and believe your experience deserves above the wage band provided of $120 – $150K, please apply.
