Position Presentation and Environment
  • Job Title: Planning, Supply and PC&L Director
  • Hierarchical Reporting: Member of the Airbus Atlantic Canada Management Committee (CODIR)
  • Location: Mirabel (YMX), Canada
Main Mission

The Planning, Supply & Logistics (PSL) department is responsible for planning, ordering, supplying, inspecting, and delivering flying and non-flying materials to production lines, in accordance with Airbus Atlantic's standards of excellence and customer quality requirements.

As PSL Director, you oversee all activities upstream of delivery to the point of use (excluding contract management). You ensure perfect synchronization between physical flows and information systems.

Key Missions and Responsibilities
  1. Planning and S&OP
    • Build the detailed schedule for each component delivery team (MPS / Master Production Schedule) based on VSM needs, while optimizing inventory.
    • Lead weekly plant MPS reviews to analyze load/capacity adequacy and adjust strategic planning.
    • Initiate and drive the S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) process at the plant level.
  2. Procurement and Demand Management
    • Define the ordering strategy and parameterize the ERP to ensure business continuity and optimize inventory.
    • Ensure the conversion of gross requirements into forecasts, planned orders, and purchase orders.
    • Monitor demand and intervene with multidisciplinary teams (MFT) to stabilize the signal transmitted to suppliers.
    • Responsible for inventory value (PGS) and composition (active vs. dormant inventory).
  3. Supplier Performance and Incoming Quality
    • Drive supplier performance in collaboration with Procurement Operations teams (Airbus Atlanta, ACLP & Airbus SAS).
    • Supervise incoming quality inspections, non-conformance resolution, and on-site rework.
    • Implement structural action plans with Supply Chain & Quality teams to eradicate recurring issues.
  4. Production Management, Logistics, and Transport (PC&L)
    • Manage the life cycle of manufacturing orders (conversion, launch, tracking of shortages, closure).
    • Operate inbound and outbound transport (road, air, and maritime) as well as internal heavy handling.
    • Industrialize logistics distribution and storage at the workshop level; ensure logistics performance for Autonomous Production Units (UAP).
  5. Continuous Improvement and Transformation
    • Deploy a continuous improvement culture based on Airbus Atlantic standards (AAOS).
    • Lead the plant's logistics and Supply Chain transformation (projects, culture, competitiveness) and participate in major company projects (e.g., implementation of the new ERP, reduction of missing parts).
Desired Profile
Experience and Qualifications:
  • Experience: Over 10 years of experience in Supply Chain operations.
  • Sector: Strong senior management experience in the aerospace industry.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a field relevant to the supply chain. Master's degree is an asset.

Skills and Personal Qualities (Soft Skills):
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent collaboration skills and ability to drive cross-functional and multidisciplinary teams toward common objectives.
  • Strong customer service mindset and results orientation.
  • Analytical mind and strong problem-solving ability (problem solving).
  • Ability to define a strategic vision and drive cultural and operational transformation initiatives.

This job requires awareness of potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the company's success, reputation, and sustainable growth.
