A forestry management organization in Dryden is seeking a qualified individual to support forest management planning. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in forestry, at least 5 years of experience, and proficiency in GIS. Dryden Fibre Canada, which consumes upwards of 1.9 million cubic meters of Fibre annually, is seeking an individual to join our Forestlands Team. The City of Dryden is located on the North shoreline of the Wabigoon Chain of Lakes along the Trans-Canada Highway. It is located midway between Winnipeg, Manitoba and Thunder Bay, Ontario, and is surrounded by wilderness, lakes, and landscapes.
Reporting to the Forest Management Superintendent and working in conjunction with the team, your role will be to provide forest management planning support on Sustainable Forest Licence areas to ensure a sustainably managed wood supply.
