Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Piping Superintendent or General Foreman in industrial or oil & gas construction.
  • Extensive knowledge of piping systems and installation standards.
  • Must have valid safety tickets (WHMIS, CSTS, Fall Protection, etc.).

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Piping Superintendent to lead our piping teams on an industrial project, primarily working inside the processing building. This role is perfect for a hands‑on leader who thrives in managing crews, coordinating schedules, and ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. This role is camp‑based on a rotation schedule subject to client requirements (ie. 14 on/14 off, 18 on/10 off, etc.), with a travel allowance provided. These remote project roles will be working 12 hour days.

Job Duties/Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate piping installation (2" – 16") inside the processing building.
  • Lead and mentor a team of pipefitters, welders, and supporting trades.
  • Ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and per project specifications and drawings.
  • Coordinate with project management, quality, and other trades for seamless workflow.
  • Monitor progress, maintain daily reports, and track productivity.
  • Enforce compliance with company and client safety policies.
Skills/Education/Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Piping Superintendent or General Foreman in industrial, oil & gas, or processing plant construction.
  • Extensive knowledge of piping systems (2" – 16") and installation standards.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Familiarity with project drawings, specifications, and schedules.
  • Journeyperson certification in Steamfitter-Pipefitter, or B Pressure Welder, or similar.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be legally eligible to to work in Canada
  • Must have valid safety tickets (WHMIS, CSTS, Fall Protection, etc.).
  • Ability to pass a pre‑employment drug and alcohol test.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
