Utilize 3D equipment and piping modelling techniques and established design practices to develop assigned portions of the 3D CAD model under the guidance of experienced designers.
Participate in formal and informal client model reviews, including documenting, tracking, and closing review comments within the assigned area of responsibility.
Prepare bulk material quantity takeoffs and provide support for discipline-specific material estimates.
Collaborate with designers across multiple disciplines to ensure effective coordination and integration of the overall design.

Communicate effectively with client representatives, technical specialists, interdisciplinary design team members, and supervisors to obtain required technical information.

Provide technical guidance and leadership to junior, intermediate, and senior piping designers as required.
Completion of a two-year college program in Engineering Design and Drafting Technology, or a three- to four-year apprenticeship program in a related discipline.
Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Piping Designer within the Oil and Gas industry.
Strong knowledge and practical experience in 3D equipment and piping modelling using CAD applications, specifically SmartPlant 3D (S3D).
Ability to make routine day-to-day decisions, including basic planning activities, within clearly defined project requirements and established guidelines.
