Job summary

Pacific Northern Gas is seeking experienced Pipeline Welders for Terrace, BC to install and maintain natural gas transmission and distribution systems. Candidates should excel in pipeline welding, follow safety protocols, and endure challenging weather while reading drawings and operating manuals.

The role requires Grade 12, PNG tickets 1–4 (CSA Z662), a valid Class 5 license, and strong communication and physical fitness. Training and a diverse, inclusive environment are provided.

Qualifications

• Must have Grade 12 or equivalent education.
• Require PNG tickets 1, 2, 3 and 4 (CSA Z662).
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License and basic pipefitter skills.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain natural gas transmission and distribution systems.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and operating manuals.

These professionals will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of natural gas transmission and distribution systems. The ideal candidates are skilled in pipeline welding, safety-focused, and able to work in challenging weather conditions.
