A regional utility provider in Delta is seeking a Pipefitter (O&M) to carry out preventative and corrective maintenance tasks at the Annacis Island Wastewater Treatment Plant. Candidates must possess a Trade Qualification certificate and experience in industrial environments. Salary Range/ Wage Rate: $47.12 hourly plus 6.25% deferred compensation (2024 wage rates)
This role receives an additional 6.25% deferred compensation on hours worked. The additional 6.25% can be taken as compensation or time off.
Our Liquid Waste Services Department is seeking a Pipefitter (O&M) who will safely and efficiently complete preventative and corrective maintenance tasks at the Annacis Island Wastewater Treatment Plant.
You are a Pipefitter committed to safety and continuously learning and improving in your trade. You enjoy working in a team environment including collaborating with Operations staff and other tradespeople. You have experience working in industrial environments, making repairs to pipe systems due to abrasive or corrosive wear, and modifying or improving systems.
