We are currently seeking an experienced Journeyman Pipefitter at our Fort Hills site. This is a hands‑on role involving the installation, maintenance, and repair of piping systems on industrial sites, all work is performed in accordance with applicable codes and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and specifications
  • Lay out, assemble, fabricate, maintain, and repair piping systems
  • Cut, thread, bend, and weld pipes using various tools and equipment
  • Work closely with welders and other trades to complete installations
  • Conduct pressure tests and inspections to ensure system integrity
  • Perform equipment and system troubleshooting and maintenance
  • Adhere to all site safety procedures, policies, and regulations
  • Complete daily reports and maintain proper documentation
Qualifications
  • Alberta Journeyman Pipefitter Certification or Red Seal Journeyman
  • Preference will be given to candidates who hold a dual ticket (Pipefitter/Millwright or Pipefitter/Boiler Maker)
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Clean Drivers Abstract
  • Previous experience working in the Oil & Gas or the Heavy Industrial sector
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to work in physically demanding environments
Information And Other Key Details
  • This will be a fly‑in fly‑out position at our Fort Hills Site, North of Fort McMurray
  • This is a camp‑based position
  • You will work a 7 days on and 7 days off dayshift rotation
  • This a safety sensitive role
