DESCRIPTION

The Pipe Services Project Manager is responsible for developing plans to achieve project milestones and minimize costs for projects or components of projects valued less than $5 million to $50 million. The Project Manager will plan, execute, and deliver projects within scope, budget, and schedule, and will lead cross‑functional teams to ensure project success. This position is based in our Coquitlam office in British Columbia.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Maintain and promote a strong safety culture for all employees, vendors and customers.
  • Manage all phases of construction projects, from inception to completion.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, resource allocation and risk assessment.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to define project requirements, goals and deliverables.
  • Lead and motivate cross‑functional project teams, providing clear direction and support.
  • Monitor and track project progress, identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Manage project budgets, expenses and cost control measures.
  • Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors and suppliers to foster effective communication.
  • Oversee procurement activities, including bid analysis, vendor selection and contract negotiations.
  • Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project processes and outcomes.
  • Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Engineering degree or equivalent with 8‑12 years in large construction projects.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects ranging from $5 million to $50 million.
  • Valid driver licence for the type(s) of vehicles which may be driven, with an acceptable driving record.
DESIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience in rehabilitation of underground infrastructure using techniques such as CIPP, SIPP, and sliplining.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, methodologies and industry best practices; expertise in civil sewer construction and trenchless rehabilitation is an asset.
  • Experience with MS Office Suite, MS Project or P6 Primavera.

Target salary range: $100,000 to $130,000 CAD per annum. The starting salary is determined based on the successful candidate’s knowledge, experience and internal equity. We offer meaningful and challenging work within a collaborative environment.
