Who we’re looking for:

A reliable, hard-working, and enthusiastic Production Assistant for our Pilot Plant in Coquitlam, BC to join our growing team. Reporting to the Chief Science Officer, this role will assist in overseeing and assessing existing processes and workflows.

Your responsibilities

• Maintain general cleanliness and organization of the pilot plant facility and work areas.
• Perform routine cleaning, sanitation, and waste management tasks across equipment and production zones.
• Assist engineers with setting up, operating, and tearing down pilot production equipment and trials.
• Support process engineers by preparing raw materials, samples, and staging required supplies.
• Follow facility safety protocols, quality guidelines, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Monitor and report plant equipment status, maintenance needs, or safety hazards to supervisors.
• Assist with inventory tracking of consumables, cleaning agents, and process materials.

• High school diploma or equivalent; previous experience in a plant, warehouse, or laboratory environment is an asset.
• Ability to perform physical labor, lift equipment/materials, and maintain a clean work space.
