Qualifications
Must have current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse.
Advanced proficiencies in peripherally inserted central catheters insertions required.
Valid BC Driver's Licence and access to a personal vehicle is necessary.
Responsibilities
Perform PICC insertions and maintain IV therapy.
Assess patients and determine appropriate nursing interventions.
Provide nursing care, including medication administration.
Develop care plans collaboratively with patients and families.
Coordinate nursing care and delegate tasks within the team.
Document patient assessments and care activities.
Participate in committees and educational programs.
Mentor new staff and participate in quality improvement activities.
