TD Private Wealth Management in Vancouver seeks a PIA Client Relationship Associate to deliver business and relationship management support to Investment Advisors, enabling high-value client service.

You will build relationships with clients, branches and referral sources, provide financial planning expertise, organize seminars, match clients to products, and support risk management and continuous improvement across the wealth advisory process.

Qualifications

  • Must be licensed as a Registered Representative (RR) with CIRO.
  • 1–2 years of relevant banking or administrative experience.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build client relationships.
  • Knowledge of wealth management or financial products is an asset.
  • Desirable: CFP or PFP credentials.

Responsibilities

  • Provide functional specialized business services, advisory and process/program support.
  • Assist Investment Advisors in building integrated solutions for clients' needs.
  • Build relationships with existing clients, bank branches and referral sources.
  • Demonstrate financial planning expertise to support IAs and enhance client retention.
  • Participate in client meetings and wealth planning processes; organize seminars/events.
  • Match clients to products and services in a professional, timely manner.
  • Maintain a culture of risk management; monitor transaction activity and adherence to policies.
  • Monitor service quality and productivity; pursue continuous improvement.

Job Description:

If so, then apply for the position of PIA Client Relationship Associate today. In this role, you will provide business and relationship management as well as planning support to Investment Advisors (IAs) to enable them to deliver exceptional customer service to our clients.

In addition, you will:

Provide functional specialized business services, advisory and process/program support

Assist IA in building integrated and customized solutions based on clients' unusual needs

Build relationships with existing clients, IA Bank branches and other Bank referral sources

Demonstrate financial planning expertise to support IA and produce high quality plans that exceed client expectations and improve client retention and loyalty

Participate in client meetings and the wealth planning process; organize client seminars/events

Match clients to their products and services in a professional, consistent and expedient manner

Maintain a culture of risk management; adhere to internal policies and procedures and protect the interests of the Bank by monitoring and raising transaction activity as required

Monitor service quality and productivity; implement continuous improvement

Keep current on emerging trends and keep others informed and up to date on work status, progress

Participate fully as a team member, support a positive professional team environment

Job Requirements:

Successful candidates will be required to be licensed as a Registered Representative (RR) with the Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization (CIRO

1–2 years of relevant experience, ideally in banking, administrative roles, or related fields

Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships and work collaboratively, confidentially, and independently

Knowledge of wealth management and/or operations is an asset

Knowledge of investment products is an asset

Desirable: Personal Financial Planner (PFP) or Certified Financial Planner (CFP)
