Nova Scotia Health Authority in Roseway Hospital Western Zone seeks a Physiotherapist to assess, diagnose and treat patients with impairment or pain in outpatient, inpatient and community settings. You will educate colleagues and supervise physiotherapy students and assistants, contributing to a multidisciplinary Rehabilitation Services portfolio.

This permanent full-time (75 hours bi-weekly) position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy, NS regulator membership and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or entry level master in Physiotherapy.
• Membership with the Nova Scotia Physiotherapy Regulator.
• Computer skills (statistics input, word processing, Outlook).
• Annual Cardio-pulmonary Resuscitation certification (BCLS).
• Additional courses/training in specialized areas (e.g., cardio-respiratory, stroke rehab).
• French language competencies are an asset.

Responsabilités

• Assess, diagnose and treat patients with impairment, pain or disability.
• Provide service in outpatient, inpatient and community settings.
• Educate and communicate with health disciplines, public, family and caregivers.
• Supervise physiotherapy students and assistants.
• Provide services across the Rehabilitation Services portfolio.
