Lifemark Health Group in Muskoka, ON is seeking a passionate physiotherapist to join our clinic on a part-time basis, offering 2.5 hours per week. You will contribute to high-quality, patient-centered rehabilitation for Canadians in a collaborative multidisciplinary team.

You bring an active provincial license, liability coverage, and a patient-first mindset. You’ll mentor colleagues, stay current with best practices, and help expand Lifemark's care in the community through evidence-based,

Qualifications

  • Active license in good standing with your provincial regulatory college.
  • Professional liability insurance as required.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and a patient-first mindset.
  • Enthusiasm for mentoring, participating in clinic events, and sharing knowledge.
  • 1–2+ years of outpatient LTC experience preferred; new grads welcome with provisional licenses.

Responsibilities

  • Develop personalized, evidence-informed care plans for rehabilitation goals.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient-centric care.
  • Mentor and support junior staff and learners as assigned.
  • Stay current with best practices through ongoing learning and development.
  • Utilize digital tools to streamline workflow and communication.
  • Educate patients and families on recovery, prevention, and self-management.

Your impact

As a Lifemark physiotherapist, you’ll be a vital member of a multidisciplinary team, empowering individuals to overcome challenges, improve their mobility, and achieve their health goals. You'll be more than a care provider; you'll be an educator, motivator, and problem-solver, lifting people up, meeting people where they are in their health journeys, sharing knowledge, and delivering top-quality, patient-centered care.

  • Develop personalized, evidence-informed care plans to support individual rehabilitation and wellness goals.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient-centric care and achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Build the next generation through mentorship and leadership (as assigned).
  • Stay current with best practices through continuous learning and professional development.
  • Utilize modern tools, including e-charting and digital communication, to streamline your workflow.
  • Partner with therapy assistants and kinesiologists to maximize clinical impact.
  • Educate patients and their families on recovery, prevention, and self-management strategies.

Above all, you are driven to grow – both professionally and personally. Key skills and qualifications include:

  • Active license in good standing with your provincial regulatory college.
  • Professional liability insurance (as required).

  • Enthusiasm for mentoring, participating in clinic events, and sharing knowledge.
  • 1–2+ years of outpatient LTC experience (preferred; new grads with provisional licenses are encouraged to apply!).
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
  • Assistive Devices Program (ADP) authorization is mandatory
  • A valid Vulnerable Sector screening check (within 6 months)
  • Proof of Tuberculin (2-Step Mantoux Test) clearance
