A healthcare provider in Vanderhoof is seeking a dedicated registered Physiotherapist to join their Rehabilitation Services department. Position Summary Are you a registered Physiotherapist looking to highlight your knowledge, skills, and abilities in a new and dynamic environment? We currently have an opportunity for you to bring your excellent work ethic to our Rehabilitation Services department.
In accordance with established vision and values of the organization and in accordance with professional standards and code of ethics as outlined by the College of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia, the Physiotherapist works independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team providing physiotherapy services including assessment, treatment planning and implementation, program planning, consultation, equipment prescription and education of residents/clients/patients ('the client') and/or their caregivers to promote functional independence and enable the client to achieve and maintain optimal health outcomes in inpatient, outpatient, residential and community settings. The Physiotherapist contributes to the organization and the overall goals of the profession, department; participates in departmental/program quality assurance initiatives, meetings, research, and education; and provides work direction to the rehabilitation assistant working with the rehabilitation team.
Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Monday to Friday, Days - 08:00 to 16:00
St. Johns Hospital is a 24 acute‑care bed facility. The Hospital serves the communities of Vanderhoof and the Saik'uz First Nation, as well as acting as a referral centre for the surrounding communities of Burns Lake, Fort St. James and Fraser Lake.
