Position Summary

This Temporary Full-Time Physiotherapist position to join their team. The position will act as a float assigned, as required, to the various units within the hospital to fulfill patient care needs as part of a centralized Rehab Service. Start date: December 22, 2025 Ending on or before date: December 21, 2026

Essential Qualifications
  • Baccalaureate degree in Physiotherapy
  • Licensed and member in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
  • Current C.P.R. certification on hire
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively within an interpersonal team
  • Demonstrated ability to deal effectively with all levels of staff and the public
  • Demonstrated high level of communication, organizational and time management skills
  • Experience in a hospital based physiotherapy program
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in an inter-professional and collaborative team environment
  • Experience working with geriatric population in an activation type model
  • Excellent working knowledge and application of principles of geriatric care
  • Must be able to fulfill physical requirements of the job, as per current Physical Demands Analysis
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Physiotherapy
  • Membership in Canadian Physiotherapists Association
  • Evidence of ongoing education in geriatric care
Hours of Work

Must be available to work day shift, Monday to Sunday. Shifts and hours may vary according to departmental requirements, the OPSEU Collective Agreement and funding.
