Qualifications

• Must have a Master's or Degree in Physical Therapy.
• Valid registration with the College of Physical Therapists of Alberta.
• Experience in clinical care is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide client care through focused assessment and treatment.
• Contribute to residents' quality of life through assessment.
• Supervise support staff and students as needed.

Education

Graduation from a recognized Masters or Degree program in Physical Therapy

Registration with the College of Physical Therapists of Alberta is required

AADL authorizer is an asset

Position Summary

This position is responsible for providing client care through focused assessment, treatment and discharge planning on our rehabilitation and recovery units, and contributing to our residents' quality of life through assessment of appropriate interventions to maximize safe, functional independence on our continuing care units.

Other duties may include providing clinical supervision to support staff and students and other related duties as required.

Program Summary

Neuro Rehabilitation Program - for adults who have had a neurological injury, such as a stroke, and require additional assessment, recuperation and rehabilitation before returning to the community.
