Carewest Innovative Health Care in Calgary is seeking committed physical therapists to provide care to clients in rehabilitation and recovery units. Candidates must have a recognized degree, registration with Alberta’s College of Physical Therapists, and experience in a clinical setting is an asset. Position Status: Regular & Temporary Full/Part-Time, Casual Opportunities – Location: Various Locations – Shift: Days – Shift Times: 07:45-16:00.
$38.90 - $51.80 per hour.
This position is responsible for providing client care through focused assessment, treatment and discharge planning on our rehabilitation and recovery units, and contributing to our residents' quality of life through assessment of appropriate interventions to maximize safe, functional independence on our continuing care units. Other duties may include providing clinical supervision to support staff and students, and other related duties as required.
Open to new graduates and students eligible for internship.
Employees are required to use technologies, devices, resources, and systems provided by the employer, as per Carewest policy and procedure. Adherence to relevant privacy legislation and best practice including HIA, ATIA, POPA, and InfoCare Behaviours, is required. Successful applicants not currently working for Carewest will need to provide a suitable police records check and vulnerable sector screen. Successful applicants may need to provide immunization records for positions in certain environments.
