Job summary

Health Match BC invites applications for a physiatrist to join Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops. This Level II trauma centre offers a broad PM&R practice with emphasis on EMG and trauma, plus a fully accredited neurodiagnostic lab.

You will participate in neurorehabilitation with the Stroke Unit and Rehabilitation Ward, and contribute to outpatient care for aftercare, musculoskeletal consults, and interventional spasticity management.

Qualifications

• The successful candidate must have a strong interest in and the ability to work in all areas of physical medicine and rehabilitation practice.
• Locum opportunities are available throughout the recruitment process for those who are already eligible to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• PM&R focus in EMG and trauma with a fully accredited neurodiagnostic lab.
• Neurorehabilitation with the Stroke Unit, Stroke Team, and Rehabilitation Ward.
• General inpatient rehabilitation including geriatric and complex medical cases; outpatient clinics for inpatient aftercare, musculoskeletal consultations, and interventional spasticity management.
• Leadership development opportunities through Interior Health’s NAVIG8 Program.
