Job summary

A leading gaming company in Montreal seeks a talented 3D Texture Artist to create photoreal textures for characters and environments. The ideal candidate will have over 2 years of experience in the VFX industry, strong skills in Mari and/or Substance Painter, and a solid understanding of shading techniques. Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in the VFX industry with a raytracing render engine.
  • Strong understanding of texturing techniques and software.
  • Familiarity with shading networks using procedural methods.

Responsibilities

  • Create photoreal textures for various assets.
  • Develop shading and lookdev for characters and environments.
  • Collaborate with the lighting department to ensure photorealistic assets.
  • Optimize render times while adhering to deadlines.

Skills

Strong knowledge of Mari
Strong knowledge of Substance Painter
Strong knowledge of Photoshop
Strong knowledge of shaders
Minimum 2 years of experience in 3D texturing
Knowledge of Arnold
Knowledge of Houdini
Knowledge of Nuke
Knowledge of Maya
