You will develop, implement and test measurement procedures to characterize quantum emitters embedded in photonic circuits at cryogenic temperatures, contributing to performance improvements of on-chip photonic devices.

Job description

Photonic Test Engineers at Photonic are part of a team to realize first-of-their-kind photonic all-integrated circuits for implementing truly scalable quantum technologies. You will be developing, implementing and testing measurement procedures to characterize quantum emitters embedded in photonic circuits at cryogenic temperatures. As a Photonics Test Engineer, you are a specialist in testing photonic on-chip devices and are familiar with evaluating and improving their performance. You will work in a diverse, fast-paced, and multi-disciplinary team of engineers, scientists and technicians.

Photonic Inc, based in Vancouver, is building quantum computers that link silicon spin qubits with light over ordinary telecom fibre, so many small machines can work as one. It is in Stage B of DARPA's Quantum Benchmarking Initiative.
