Job summary

Echo NDE, a Rockwood Service Corporation subsidiary, is seeking Phased Array Technicians to support the PLI division across Western Canada and the United States. You will perform PAUT on piping seams and welds, interpret data, and ensure inspections meet ASME codes, working with field crews in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has PAUT Level 2, UT2 and MT2 certifications, strong data handling and communication skills, and a valid driver's license for travel across North America.

Qualifications

• CGSB Ultrasonic Testing UT2 certificate is required.
• PCN PAUT Level 2 or equivalent.
• CGSB Magnetic Particle Testing MT2 certificate is required.
• Knowledge of pipeline industry and pipeline integrity inspections is required.
• Ability to manage and organize large data sets.
• Good analytical skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Locate, identify, and interpret pipeline flaws using NDE methods.
• Perform PAUT inspections on piping long seams and girth welds.
• Review inspection reports and assist field teams with reporting.
• Execute inspections in accordance with ASME codes and standards.
• Interpret and evaluate inspection data with accuracy.
• Collaborate with field crews and project teams.

Position Details

Echo NDE is seeking Phased Array Technicians to support our PLI division across Western Canada and the United States. This position is ideal for technicians with strong PAUT and code‑based inspection experience who thrive in a fast‑paced field environment, performing critical integrity assessments on pipeline assets across North America. Responsibilities

• Locate, identify, and interpret pipeline flaws utilizing various NDE inspection methods.
• Ability to perform various examinations on live natural gas or liquid pipelines.
• Review of pipeline integrity inspection report, including assisting other pipeline integrity technicians with reporting.
• Perform Phased Array (PAUT) on inspections of piping long seams, girth welds on piping and related equipment.
• Execute inspections in accordance with ASME codes and standards.
• Interpret and evaluate inspection data with accuracy and integrity.
• Work collaboratively with field crews and project teams.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid driver’s license minimum (class 5) with a clean driving record.
• Able to work well within a team environment.
