Qualifications

• Completed a Pharmacy Technician Diploma or Bridging program from an accredited College.
• Successful completion of the PEBC Qualifying exam.
• Membership in good standing with the provincial College of Pharmacists.
• 1 year continuous working experience in a pharmacy environment.
• Proficient computer knowledge and skills; Windows proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate process flow related to patient records retention.
• Assist the Pharmacist with preparation, packaging and distribution of patient prescriptions.
• Evaluate legality and interpret all prescriptions, labels and consent forms.
• Complete documentation for third-party management and reconciliation.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Support inventory management in the pharmacy.
