Job summary

A healthcare organization in Nova Scotia is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists in daily operations. Responsibilities include preparing and distributing medication, coordinating pharmacy functions, and training new staff. Qualifications

• Possess a Pharmacy Technician Course Certificate issued by the Pharmaceutical Society of Singapore, or an equivalent Diploma from a recognised Polytechnic in Pharmaceutical Science.
• Fresh Diploma candidates from Pharmaceutical Science are welcome to apply.
• Relevant working experience in Healthcare would be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute drugs to patients and treatment rooms under the supervision of the Pharmacist.
• Co-ordinate Pharmacy functions and services daily.
• Assist in the training of new pharmacy staff and guide Pharmacy Assistants.
